My name is Stefan Ashwell and when I'm not coding personal projects or painting miniatures, I'm a Web Developer at CWA in Leicester.

This blog is a place for me to write about things that require that little bit extra to solve. We all have gaps in our knowledge and every now and then I need to reach out on search engines or blogs to find an answer. Often, these answers come from multiple sources. This blog serves as a personal resource, but if it's helpful for me I'm sure it'll help others too!

What is Laravel?

Laravel is a modern PHP framework with beautiful, elegant code and a focus on rapid development. I fell in love with Laravel in 2015 and never looked back. I use it for every project and day to day. It’s perfect for anything from web apps and APIs to small websites.

I’m always learning new things while working with the framework, which sparked this section of tutorials. My thinking is anything I find useful someone else probably will do too. As always, if there’s a topic you’d like me to cover let me know on social media and I’ll see what I can do! Links to them can be found in the sidebar.
